4 screen action!: Kiefer goes musical
tick... tick... tick....
'24' star, the none-more manly Kiefer Sutherland, is to move his grimacing skill set to the music world.
The hulking small-screen hero plans to release a record this year via his own label, Iron Clad. The record was recorded in his own studio too. Mmm... self-sufficient.
Speaking to an Aussie website, the man said: "It's a soft rock type of thing which will appeal to fans of all ages."
"2005 is the year when fans will finally get to hear what else I can do." he warned, just before throwing himself and the journalist to the ground, avoiding an arab nuclear weapon attack.

This sounds very, very bad.
24 is the only TV programme I watch, mind. Although the plotline for series 4 is making me feel a bit uncomfortable...

aw, c'mon. the plotlines are always a bit off, aren't they? the acting has gone considerably downhill though. and i'm really interested to hear this. i think it might destroy his career...again.

Whenever something is described as soft-rock (particularly when it's by the actual artist themselves), you just know it's going to be horrific. I bet that's how Hasselhoff describes his music as well. You know, edgy for the guys, but sensitive for the ladies.
Re: 4 screen action!: Keifer goes musical
This time it isn't "Arabs try to blow up LA", it's "Arabs try to blow up the USA". Fuckwits.
That isn't going to stop me from watching it though.

whew......this is ALL wrong! Kiefer is releasing a cd on his label, IronWORKS. He and partner/producer/musician, Jude Cole, have teamed up to develop new artists that otherwise would have little chance to see the light of day.
The first release will NOT be anything by Kiefer though. It is an artist by the name of Rocco DeLuca. And it is anything but "soft". Rocco plays slide dobro like a madman and has a voice that reminds me of Robert Plant in the old days when he could still hit those screams !
I'll be getting some demos out to Bob Harris in the near future......be on the listen for it.
buzz

Jack Bauer can do no wrong. It took him 23 minutes to cripple someone in this new series. We should support whatever he does.
Kiefer Sutherland however, will probably do a Shatner. Which'll be hilarious.

Re: 4 screen action!: Kiefer goes musical
No, you're shite.

William Shatner's last album was strangely enjoyable. Here's hoping for a Sutherland spoken-word rendition of a Britpop classic.

Maybe we should e-mail him and tell him to do Parklife by Blur. With a Dick Van Dyke cockney accent.
4 screen action!: Kiefer goes musical
i would pay very good money for that.

If Kiefer's style is anything like his buddy "JUDE COLE" it should be pretty good. Jude's CD is great.
