New Yorkers on roller skates The Rapture are to play twice, both times for free, in London pretty darn soon.
On September 4, the dance-punkin' quartet, whose Pieces Of The People We Love LP is due for release on September 18, will perform for nowt at HMV on Oxford Street. Yeah, the well massive one. Wicked.
They'll also sign copies of their recently-released single, 'Get Myself Into It'. DiS's review is here.
On Sepember 5 the band plays Islington's beer-branded Academy venue, again for free. Tickets can be obtained by listening to Lauren Laverne's breakfast show, on Xfm, tomorrow morning. That's August 31.
Look out for a forthcoming DiS podcast special, featuring The Rapture, very soon.
