Elton John plans to record a hip-hop record featuring a wealth of contemporary rappers, reports Rolling Stone.
The singer - pictured - told the US magazine that he hopes to work with the likes of Eminem (again, of course), Snoop Dogg and Kanye West (hence the headline, yo). He said:
"I want to bring my songs and melodies to hip-hop beats. It may be a disaster, it could be fantastic, but you don't know until you try. I want to work with Pharrell, Timbaland, Snoop, Kanye, Eminem and just see what happens."
See me, I think this sounds ace: Sir Elton, tinkling the ivories, while some potty-mouthed ex-gangsta deadpans about this ho and that ho, and how they're fighting them off and shit. Like, with big blinging sticks made of gold and diamonds. While Elton tinkles. Yeah, ace.
