Gloom pioneers Interpol have announced a further London date to their Spring assault on the UK.

Currently, the tour stands as two nights at Brixton Academy on the 8th and 9th of April, but it is expected that more dates will be announced shortly.

The 8th of April is the newly added date. On Sunday, it was announced that latest single ‘Evil’ hit the UK top 20. Fancy.

Interpol in the top 20? Coolness personified. Although it is like the beginning of January. Anyone can hit the charts at the mo.

Hmm would be slightly annoying if they suddenly added a date at say Concorde 2 in Brighton. I bought tickets off lastminute.com the other week for the 9th as they were sold out everywhere else. Glad i'm going on the Saturday though as I don't have to work the next day.
