In a disappointment to all who dream of red and white weddings, White Stripes frontman Jack White has split with his celebrity girlfriend Renee Zellweger.
Rather distressingly, the announcement was made to People magazine via Zellweger's publicist who says that they "remain good friends" and that there is "no scandal" and "no new relationships".
Now, that’s hardly the way to announce a rock n’roll love split is it? To People magazine…

I feel as though I should stick up for Jack (seeing how our names are only one letter difference). I really like some of the White Stripes stuff and I really like that Oragon song with Lorreta Lyn, but I honestly dont care who he is dating.

I know there's been a lot said about the Stripes, but I still think they are the best live rock'n' roll band of the last ten years or so. Just my opinion...but you should really reserve judgement until you catch them live, or check out their first album...go on, do yourself a favour.
