Iknow how much they have lost the ethic they grew up with, ( you cant write about being working class when you are selling out major venues) but to be fair on them, Liam and Noel, theyr still the same guys only older. The Who went shit too.

in my humble opinion, noel gallagher is the greatest songwriter ever born.the one thing i know is that oasis changed my life, they made me pick up a guitar and really wanna fuckin give it some n form a band.when it comes right down to it, no other music can make me wanna get up n face anotha day with a smile on my face, vigour in my stride and warmth in my heart.i know not every one will agree with this but is it not the one thing that makes life interesting is that we do not all have the same opinions and tastes etc. for all u non believers get on yer downloading programmes n type in "as long as theyve got cigarettes in hell" sheer class. who said noel couldnt write truly introspective and life assessing lyrics? oh yeah, him.

Oasis were good than they lost it for a bit. It's possible they may come back with an album that will be one of the best albums of the year and than again they may not. What im trying to say is that they should have bowed out when things started to go down hill, before the landslide occured, that way they could have been held with same amount of esteem in the future as The Who. Now they aren't going to be viewed as well as they could have been as the rot has already set in.

Oasis are just so average.
