Anything Paris can do, TPT can do better...
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver August 21st, 2006

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson is apparently planning to mount an assault on the pop charts, and is seeking advice from Louis Walsh, according to the Sunday Mirror. Well, if that Paris girl can do it...

Tara has approached X-Factor judge Louis for assistance in her bid for something of a career move (understatement, anyone?). A source told the aforementioned Sunday tabloid:

"Tara has been plotting her return to the limelight for a while. She wants to come back with a bang and prove she's more than just a pretty face. The record will show her in a whole new light and move the focus away from her love life."

Ah, yes: the love life. Tara's only recently been at 'it' (Ha! See what we did there?) with the similarly toff-y James Blunt. So, should we expect a mushy ballad about how Mr Blunt left her 'High' and dry, 'Cry'ing herself 'Out Of My Mind'? Or should we just stop listing Blunt songtitles and close this piece so we can go to the pub for lunch? Okay.

Continues said source:

"Tara has been quietly beavering away on this for a while. In the past ten years, she's gone from IT girl to reality TV star to TV presenter. Now she wants to try her hand at something completely different. And what better way to showcase her talents than to go back to what she does best?"
