Wanna win tickets to see experiMental metalheads The Dillinger Escape Plan headline London's Forum next week? Well read on...
DEP, whose second album 'Miss Machine' is one of the best of this year, play on December 9th at The Forum in Kentish Town, with Poison The Well and Ephel Duath in support. To say it'll be the metal show of the year is a no-brainer - it's going to rule. DiS has TWO pairs of tickets to give away, and all you've got to do is this:

They were fucking immense at the Zodiac last Friday. Ephel Duath, on the other hand, are fucking awful. So don't bother showing up early...all you'll get is 5 twats playing random jazz-fusion with a guy screaming over the top.

Ephel Duath are horrible. Just...horrible. Black metal's shite enough but when you put random blasts of piercing saxophone noise over the top...just...no.

I beg to differ. Ephel Duath rule. They are only termed "black metal" because they used to be several years ago. Have you actually listened to their last album? Its closer to jazz than black metal. I'm sorry but it pisses me off when somebody slates a band when they've clearly barely heard them.

OK, I'll take that. I have only heard one song. I don't remember which album it's from...it's definitely one from 2001 onwards. But it's going to take a lot to convince me to listen to any more, is all I'm saying. I'm sure if I do by some massive surprise end up winning this competition I will give them a second chance.
