Guillemots and Get Cape join up for charity gig
Mercury nominees Guillemots and Southend solo artist Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly are to play a special gig in Colchester in memory of an A-level student who died of bronchio pneumonia earlier this year.
Vicky Moulton died suddenly at her parents' house in February. Her boyfriend, Jamie Quinn, almost immediately set about arranging a charity gig with the help of a few friends. That gig takes place on August 21 at the Colchester Arts Centre.
"Vicky loved music, and the Guillemots," said Mr Quinn. "It will be an emotional concert, but I think it will go really well."
Tickets for the gig are ten pounds, available from WeGotTickets, and proceeds will go to Project Oasis, a charity organisation helping children in poverty-stricken countries.
