Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

Just what the worlds needs.
Do we really need to hear his strained voice singing wonderwall again?
Or dont look back in feckin anger?

if the new album isnt utter shite, i'll eat my desk.

Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

bomb iraq? more like bomb the national bowl on july 9th

Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

ha! ha!

maybe not bomb though.

just a big cloud of shit.

I'm trying to think if there's anything I'd less rather do than go to one of these gigs.

Nope. Not even a good support bill would persuade me.

Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

how funny would it be if they were half empty?

or completely empty!!!

Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

The four workmates sitting opposite me are all going and seem to think it is the pinnacle of musical enrtainment this year. I hate my life...

Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

hahaha...that picture of liam is fucking brilliant.

Re: Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

Thanks, it's from Finsbury Park in The Mud.

I'm one of the few remaining saddos that will actually admit to liking Morning Glory and buying Be Here Now on the day it came out, obviously while many of you were into The Killers' earlier bands, but the last couple of Oasis gigs I've seen at Brighton and Glasto were so devoid of anything Oasis ever had that I'm thinking a jolt up to MK to get bottles of piss thrown at me may just be one step too far.

Re: Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

I will also admit to liking Morning Glory and buying Be Here Now on the day it came out. I quicky threw Be Here Now in the bin, where it belongs. Still love the first album n'all. But now...give me a break!

Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

i remember the day when 2 million people applied for knebworth tickets. tickets for these gigs have been on sale for over a day now and still haven't sold out which is very poor for oasis.

can't say i'm surprised, watching them at glasto on tv was awful, imagine watching them in a field full of chavs, no thanks!

Someone here is subscribed to the holymoly mail out, obviously. Congratulations.

The first two albums are great, but the rest has been unmitigated shite. Knebworth was definitely the zenith of Britpop though, right band, right time, right place.

Re: Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

Knebworth was the end for me - and I was near the front so this wasn't down to a bad view. First album a classic (I bought the DVD the other week). Second album not bad for the most part. Third album... yep, I bought it first day too. Haven't sold it yet, but will do. Fourth album - bought, sold. Fifth album - never bought. Sixth album - let's hope not... unless a miracle happens and it's like the first. Uuuuuuuuuuunlikely.

I bought Definately maybe the day it was released and saw Oasis at The Wedgewood rooms in 1994, Excellent Gig.

I wasn't that keen on Whats The Story, Wonderwall was a Chav anthem even then, Went to Wembley in 2000 because Doves where supporting and have to say it was possibly one of the worst gigs I've known. Appalling. Didn't help that Wembley Stadium was a toilet

I remember Liam saying something like " Oasis shouldn't be playing Wembley, its for cunts like Simple Minds" Ironic now Oasis are Bloated stadium rockers I reckon.

I see that the first City of Manchester Stadium gig sold out in five minutes, according to the NME (which probably means a couple of hours).

Baa. Baaaaaaaa. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

Tickets are going well on Ebay :-)

Ebay them and use the proceeds for a decent gig !

Re: Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

the tickets were only been onsale to people who are on the mailing list although a link has been floating around so to people who arent on the mail list or spend their days looking at sites like this - they go only went onsale today

when they went onsale this morning 3 extra dates were added to cope with demand

Re: Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

i think the moral of the story is, never shag patsy kensit.

i went to wembley in 2000 and loved it. the doves, happy mondays and oasis. the sun was out and i was pissed. good for nostalgia, but hardly cutting edge. a bit like going to a bjorn again gig during freshers week.

oasis are one of the most over-rated bands along with nirvana in the history of teh world. they are TOTALLY IRELLEVENT. get over it man

Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

*sarcastically speaking* erm yah, oasis suck. hmmm. over-rated?* Shut up mate. Oasis rule and evryone knows it. thats why they sold out the biggest arenas in the country in a few hours.

Re: Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

so the size of the venue you fill makes you a better band? stop being a sheep and start thinking for yourself.

9-10 years ago oasis did rule. it was great that a band like that could have no.1 hits, however they are rubbish these days, they've become a parody of themselves.

Re: Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

all im saying by them filling the arenas is so many people cant be wrong. being successful means being a good band. just because Liams a Wanker doesn't make them a bad band, im not sayin u have but so many people write them off because of Liam.

Re: Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

Oasis are good at what they do... however, after 5 albums of what they do, one might think that they could move on musically. However, they just get more and more derivative.

They continually do the same thing whilst other bands such as the Manics, Blur, Supergrass develop their music, incorporating new ideas and even changing style.

Pluse they said they are better than The Beatles, and I resent anyone for saying that.

Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

oasis have 1 good album - definatly maybe which at the time stood out. but what do oasis stand for snorting cocain ladism ect ect. load of shit people only like this band because there on a huge label who are willing to put loads of money into em. there a pop band. a shit one at that. liam has the worst voice i can imagine. noel is pretty talentless lets face it they cant hold onto a drummer so tehy get ringo star in!!! you must be joking! they might aswell change there name to the beatles. but they cant cause they dont even compare

Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

ahem, (crax knuckles) 4 the attention of that old legend, no one who gives the libertines 5 stars deserves to call Noel Gallagher talentless. gimme a fuckin break!!!!
