Futureheads head over to FROG

Sunderland's majestic post punkers The Futureheads have announced that they will be performing live at London’s FROG night this weekend, Saturday 4th September.

The band recently stormed the Reading and Leeds festivals, and will be delivering the deranged harmonising and stop start angular anthems of their self titled debut to all and sundry this weekend.

FROG takes place at the Mean Fiddler on Charing Cross Road (next to the Astoria, Ladies and Gentleman) and is £5 with a flyer before 12, or £7 after. Bands hit the stage at 1am.

They are one of the craziest bands I've ever heard/seen. Doesn't their bass player look like that bloke out of Teachers? You know, the one that teaches PE...

I believe my friend is DJing a bit after this. Should be a good night, I'm rather jealous I won't be there.

Brilliant! He sort of does doesn't he. I think Barry looks like a dodgy university lecturer (I think that's his name anyways)

Re: Futureheads head over to FROG

I told him this once after a gig & the others laughed at him

Yeah, the 'Heads had cancelled, the basist, Ross's house was burgelled, so they stayed in Sunderland to be near his girlfriend who was in the flat at the time.

Its a shame, cos it should've been a blinder!
