Manson to host The Cure tribute show

Marilyn Manson will host a live tribute to the kings of glum, The Cure, on September 17th.
The show - part of MTV's Icon series - will feature performances and testimonials from artists and celebrities who cite The Cure as a significant influence upon their work. It'll be held at Old Billingsgate Market in London, and screened in October.
We'll post something about tickets - if any are available to the public - just as soon as we know ourselves. Otherwise, why not scan www.mtv.com for clues?

On a lighter note: The Cure are immense, the latest lp is great as well which after all that time is a real feat. Look at most the acts they grew up alongside.

As long as it's not as tedious as the Metallica tribute program thing. With Avril Latrine and other horrible, horrible bands playing. And it was Metallica, who I despise wholeheartedly.

all i have to say is that the cure had some awesome encores this pass friday here in carson. the moon was on top of robert literaly. n the whole lightingshow n sound was fucken great man. so many hot guys, so many. i hope scaling sings at the tribute!!!
