Sparklehorse announce large UK tour

Mark Linkous is to tour the UK in September and October in support of the release of Sparklehorse's first album for five years, Dreamt for Lightyears in the Belly of a Mountain, due on September 25.

Dreamt for Lightyears in the Belly of a Mountain was recorded by Linkous in North Carolina; his/Sparklehorse's last album, It's A Wonderful Life, was released back in 2001. Guests/contributors on the new album include Tom Waits, Stephen Drozd and Dangermouse. A song from it, 'Don't Take My Sunshine Away', can be heard on MySpace.

Just called the venue and there was some bargirl who had no idea about how one orders or reserves tickets.
Her suggestion was to call back later in the week when the boss is in!
I suggested that she should think about getting a little more info since this is the mighty 'horse we're talking about, and they're bound to get a fair few calls over the next couple of days...
