The world's - well, DiS's - favourite San Fran-based pop oddballs Deerhoof are to crash their psychedelic spaceship into Europe this summer, for three dates with Radiohead.
The band - now a trio - sold out London's Scala earlier this year (read our review), and bring their absolutely unique brand of something-pop to the following stages...
August
22 Edinburgh Meadow Bank Stadium
24 Dublin Marlay Park
28 Amsterdam Heineken Music Hall
Deerhoof's The Runners Four LP is out now through ATP Recordings; if you don't have it, get it. Damn...

It starts at about 4
So I'm guessing there's another band or two to be added as well.
Get Your Head On
Got my tix in post the other day for Edinburgh - can't wait!!!
oh good god.
this will be unbeatable.
it's been added to the gig listings too - get adding yourselves.
I suppose this sold out
about a million days before i actually heard anything about it
:(
argh!
shit
MUST get a ticket now.
Yeah
but, it's a big venue, won't be hard to get tickets nearer the time off scarletmist or whatever
:-)
The edinburgh gig just keeps looking better and better!
i am going to
the Amsterdam gig, going to be awesome. I'm seeing Radiohead in August twice now. Deerhoof were not as good as i hoped they would be when i saw them earlier this year but still an excellent band to be chosen to support.
