London-Reading route to close AGAIN over festival weekend
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver July 22nd, 2004
Going to Reading this year? Live in London? Gutted...

Bosses at First Great Western railways have decided to close the Paddington to Reading line over August Bank Holiday weekend for the second year in a row, meaning that all the festival-goers who made the longer trip from Waterloo to Reading (and back again) last year will have to do the same damn thing all over again.

As you'll remember, there are also considerably fewer services that run from Waterloo to Reading, so good luck!
