Mixtape # 39 - Casiokids

Casiokids, being Norwegian, love Norwegian music. To champion music from the country they call Norge, they have compiled a mixtape of their very favourite acts from their homeland. They're also playing at The Great Escape this weekend at our co-hosted Export Norway show before playing Po Na Na at 8:45.

Mr. Øye and his crew knows their way around a catchy tune.)

Lindstrøm - 'Where You Go I Go Too'

Magical builder. Also, we respect his use of field recordings with phaser effect. This got us into Ashra as well.

Sax! From his golden years. This one features fav viking drummer Jon Christensen.

MoHa! - 'It Burns Twice'

Noise heroes from Stavanger that rejected the concept of taxi volume at an early age.

Torske (Cod), or Torskefar as he's often referred to (the codfather), is Bergen electro's godfather.

Jens Lekman - 'A Little Lost' (Arthur Russell cover)
