Altogether now: "Duh-duh, duh-duh, duh-duh duh-de-duh, duh-duh, duh-duh, duh". DiS' Mr Prolific Gary Wolstenholme took in the sights and sounds of Vampire Weekend at Sheffield's brand spanking new Academy venue last night. And because the gig started so early (did you miss El Guincho too?), he was safely in the pub by 9.30pm. Bonus!

Really stupid!!
that El Guincho were on at ten to 7. Cant believe i missed it. Poor scheduling, who wants to be at a gig that early!! Also, the bass sounded like a fart at the start of vampire weekend, glad they sorted that out. Im really fed up of gigs being ruined by shit sound
