Well, that should be enough to give you some idea of what to spend your Christmas record vouchers on. Of course, it’s no way comprehensive – we’ve only so much time, you know. Plus, the pubs are already open, and it’s Christmas… duty calls.

it's all about
deerhunter. cryptograms is an amazing album.
I've been looking forward to
The Cooper Temple Clause album for about 6 months now, at least. It's been delayed for what seems like forever...
That, and Bloc Party. They're my 2 biggies for the new year.
New Fall album in February...
of course you have to flip a coin.
Heads = Work of genius
Tails = Glimmers of genius with loads of turgid crap
Here's to hoping...
I made a cardboard Candylion today.
Just Gruff Rhys then.
Although i've not heard Grinderman yet. Or any of those albums i suppose.
Yay for Aereogramme and Marissa Nadler.
Young Galaxy and Last Harbour should be there around march too !
Hot Cross - Risk Revival
Is my most looked-forward-to album. January/February-ish, last I heard.
Yes
And from the copy KRS sent me, it's something to get excited about. Even if my friends do think it is Mew everytime I play it.
one for you all...
I really think you guys will all be raving about WINDMILL very shortly. His album drops in March and it's got that euphoric layering of sound that people commend Arcade Fire for, with a gorgeously fragile/deranged vocal. Amazing.
Sorry
but when did Brett Anderson sign to DiS and why isn't this more amazing news?
New LCD is pretteh fugging good. I <3 the new Shins, yadda yadda.
also
Emily Haines from Metric's solo album out in April 2007 via Drowned in Sound Recordings.
was a little while ago
every site but dis ran a news story on it, seemingly. we didnt wanna make too much noise about it til there was release information.
yeah
the coopers album is awesome. quite different without ben singing on all of them. there's a song that starts with church bells that i cant stop listening to.
charlottefield
have a new album out this year. judging by their new stuff live, its gonna be a fuckin stunner!
New Air album
Pocket Symphony - March 5th
I can't wait for:
The Cooper Temple Clause
The Shins
Bloc Party
Aereogramme.
The rest I'll get excited about eventually..long after they are released...
Arcade Fire-Neon Bible...
out March 26th
i agree...
the album has been on constant rotation on my ipod machine throughout the festive period!
Plus, Frank Turner
'Sleep is for the Weak' is out on 15th Jan.
That, plus Gruff Rhys, is the one I'm looking forward to most
Frank Turner
belongs on this list ... it's gonna be a very good album
theres more...
kubichek album possibly in march
and for fuck sake hopefully help she cant swim get their fingers out and deliver us a new album
another
Do make say think on february 12. i think
arcade fire..
awesome, was about to ask when it was gonna be
shame about the title, but i'm pretty confident it should be ace, i trust them! xx
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah have a new album out...
... right now in the US, so I'm presuming here too. I've had the Bloc Party since November and have only listened to it once in full. Very slack of me, I know.
