This on Friday looks a bit special...
Halloween Festival: Error In Movies…
Creative-types Type2Error, responsible for videos, art and live visuals for Hope of the States and videos by Bloc Party, Manic Street Preachers, The Duke Spirit and Youthmovie Soundtrack Strategies, present a special live event this Friday.
WHEN? Friday the 14th of January 2005, 6PM – 1AM
WHERE? ICA, The Mall, London part of the Halloween Short Film Fest
WHAT? Live sets from four of the most inventive new bands in the UK today: the progsome YOUTHMOVIE SOUNDTRACK STRATEGIES, the blissful swooping noises of REDJETSON (debut album ‘New General Catalogue’ released Jan 24th is picking up lots of rave reviews!) and the post-bonkers EDMUND FITZGERALD.
The night kicks off with a 60 minute retrospective of work by Type2error including the first screening of the brand new Youthmovie Soundtrack Strategy video, plus lots of other unseen goodies followed by a short questions and false answers session. Then YMSS/Redjetson/Edmund Fitzgerald orchestra perform a live soundtrack to 60s Czech film, 'Daisies'. Plus a special cassette only DJ set.
