We've pretty much had competitions coming out of our ears recently at Drowned in Sound. This means you have the chance to win stuff. Here's another one.
The lowdown:
As previously reported, Sony Ericsson, the phone people, are hosting a night called Pitch Black. This entails one of DiS's favourite bands, Friendly Fires, playing in complete darkness to an audience of around 200.
Pretty exclusive, yah. It's also going to be filmed in infra-red, so don't think you can get away with grabbing other peoples' posteriors.
The gig takes place in a yet-to-be-announced venue in London on 15 June, which is this coming Monday, so you'll need to be free then and available to get to London, obviously.
What's up for grabs:
- A pair of tickets to Pitch Black, featuring Friendly Fires
In the time honoured tradition of competitions...all you have to do to enter is correctly answer the following question and send a private message to me (click my name at the top of this article and then "send note"...) with your full name. Winner will be picked at random.
Here's the question:
Q: What's so special about this Pitch Black gig then, eh?
- a) It's taking place in pitch black
- b) It's taking place down a coal mine
- c) It's taking place in Abu Dhabi
Competition closes at 11.30AM Friday morning (12 June). Winners will be notified by PM on this website.
