What a great name for Kat Bjelland's (Babes in Toyland) new band. Quite apt considering Kat's divorce a few years ago with the devil himself - Lubricated Goat's guitarist/vocalist Stuart Grey. Katastrophy Wife is basically Kat doing exactly what she has always done, punchy guitar riffs topped with some stomping floor toms and her unmistakable screech vocal.

This single also has a Bis remix of the lead track; strangely, it actually isn't too bad. It trades Kat's guitar and distortion pedal for computerised drum beats and a handful of midi sounds. Although this may sound absolutely disastrous, it kind of works because of the singer's gritty vocal sitting smack bang in the middle. If you're a Babes in Toyland fan, you may want to give this a listen.
