I'm telling you. One year's time. The music press will have caught on. ** Feelgood-core** will be all the rage.

Surrey quartet Lucky Thirteen have a knack for writing some of the most catchy melodies ever to be written. It's not turgid, punk-lite, either; it's power pop, done in the best way possible; all catchy riffs and some of biggest choruses this side of* Hundred Reasons* or Weezer. You'll turn your CD player off with a smile on your face, and walk out into the sunshine humming 'Setting You Off'; or go to the pub and get pissed with your mates, all singing 'Stranger's Stories'. They're not going to grab the Kleenex and start weeping about their ex-girlfriend, and they certainly won't start rapping about how they were smacked as a baby. What they will do, however, is rock your socks off in a delightful Get-Up Kids manner of emo-pop, and let the music do the talking.

Service with a smile, if you like.

**'Stranger's Stories' is limited edition. There's only, like, 500 of these in the world, ever. You can order it HERE, if there's any left.**

Lucky Thirteen - Stranger's Stories

So, are they really not shit anymore?
They certainly were the last few times I had the misfortune of seeing them.

Re: Lucky Thirteen - Stranger's Stories

I like them. They sound much better as a 4 piece.

Re: Lucky Thirteen - Stranger's Stories

were they not always a four piece? used to be clingfilm, right? we are talking about the same band, aren't we? oh jizz...

Re: Lucky Thirteen - Stranger's Stories

They were Clingfilm, then Lindsay left and joined Twofold. Lucky Thirteen were a three piece for 1-2 years, until Danny Sloan joined them about to or three months ago.
