Dropdead

Split

Label: Prank Release Date: 29/10/2002

11799
DiSvsMatt by Mat Hocking January 30th, 2003

9 tracks in 9 minutes 9 seconds baby, yeah! This is what good hardcore thrash is all about and something Prank have an uncanny ear for. The CD is given an explosive kick start by Dropdead *whose 6 contributions whiz past you with enough venomous fury to blast off your windows at the right volume. Makes *F-Minus *sound like *Ash. Or maybe not quite. But still rather incredible!

*Totalitär *however fall slightly shorter of the mark, their gruff Swedish barking coming from the *GBH / Discharge *school of thought. Although finishing rather abruptly before you’ve had a chance to accustom yourself to the barrage of noise plaguing your ear drums this is an excellent split and a must have for any extreme hardcore fan.
