this compilation shows what a key influence this german duo had on some of today's biggest bands. the album contains liner notes from bobby gillespie, noel gallagher, lcd soundsystem, cornelius, school of seven bells, holy fuck and sonic youth. it features unreleased tracks from school of seven bells, la duesseldorf (one of the last pieces of music late drummer klaus dinger was involved in before his death in march 2008), and neu! guitarist michael rother (with a tribute to neu! producer conny plank). it also features rare tracks by oasis, foals and holy fuck. plus introducing two brand new artists: australian prog-punk band pets with pets and bristolian electro krautrockers hook and the twin. feraltone is a brand new label founded by gronland's former managing director.
