The concern is that these streaming services "cannibalise the revenues of more traditional digital services".»

Kurt Vile announces handful of European dates for 2012

Earlier this week Kurt Vile followed up the most excellent Smoke Ring For My Halo with an EP of tracks which didn't appear on that album, called So Outta Reach. It wasn't quite as good, but that was to be expected. Still Smoke Ring was and is one of the year's finest. Regardless he's just announced a quartet of European dates for next February, two of which are in the UK. Have a butcher's here for specifics. »
