BBC axes music in favour of chit chat
ldecember by Leon December November 23rd, 2002
BBC London 94.9 has recently axed the Ross Allen, Coldcut, Dr. Bob Jones, Kevin Le Gendre and Imran Khan shows.

These were listened to by music fans not only in the London area but also around the world via web streaming and as such were vital to the process of breaking and developing new artists.

If you'd like to bring back the shows, which have been replaced by useless chit chat, you can do so by sending a quick email to:

info@bbc.co.uk and feedback@bbc.co.uk, cc-ing campaign@londumb.co.uk

State that you have a serious complaint to make, and outline your concerns and grievances about the station. Ask for a reply and leave your name.

You should then forward the reply you receive to campaign@londumb.co.uk which will log the responses.
