Sparklehorse: Tour
- Artists:
- Sparklehorse »
There are few bands who're perfect for winter. Even fewer bands that sound liked a demented glitter-sprayed scene featuring Pj Harvey. And there are very few people like Mark (who arent in the Flaming Lips or Mercury Rev).
The beautifully magical Sparklehorse have announced some dates at the end of November and we throughly recommend you make it along. You can find a few of their older albums in the sales at the moment, well worth the purchase, it puts that Polyphonic Rubbish to proper shame.
November
Sun 24th @ The Barbican, London (Beyond Nashville w/ Will Oldham)
Mon 25th @ Dublin Cathedral
Tues 26th @ King Tuts, Glasgow
Weds 27th @ Manchester MDH.
Now, where are the Elliot Smith dates to round off my year perfectly?
- Legal dispute means Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse collaboration may not see light of day
- Danger Mouse, David Lynch and Sparklehorse collaboration Dark Night Of The Soul available to stream
- Daniel Johnston and friends: on tour in July
- First acts confirmed for Portishead's ATP Nightmare
- ATP Versus The Fans: DiS Versus The Fans!
- ATP Versus The Fans: running order announced
- Sparklehorse: post-ATP European dates announced

Sparklehorse: Tour
Glad to see I'm not the only one who doesn't think throwing enough shit at the wall is the key to success for The Polyphonies.
Take note: 700 band members do not guarantee quality lads and ladies.
Oh, and I'd love to go see Sparklehorse, but the usual 4 fucking date stroll means they'll not be gracing my neighbourhood. Thanks for that.

Re: Sparklehorse: Tour
They're worth travelling for.
If they sold their soul to a major label, creativity lacking deal, they could probably afford to do more shows.
Travel, they're worth it. Coaches are cheap and ask around on here for a floor to crash on.
