Gemma Hayes, Mercury Music Prize-nominated and DiS-championed Irish post-rock folkie type, is off on tour at the end of this month and into the next, supporting them wrinkley old men, Suede.

Having finished a 12 date headlining tour of her own just yesterday, Gemma will be playing the big theatres on the following dates:

October
30th - Glasgow - Barrowland
31st - Aberdeen - Music Hall

November
2nd - Liverpool - Royal Court Theatre
3rd - Manchester - University
4th - Leeds - University
6th - Newcastle - University of Northumbria
7th - Birmingham - Academy
8th - Norwich - U.E.A
10th - Bristol - Academy
11th - Cambridge - Corn Exchange
12th - Southampton - Guildhall
14th - London - Shepherds Bush Empire
15th - London - Shepherds Bush Empire
16th - London - Shepherds Bush Empire

Or maybe it's just that Suede are a London-based band, and instead of opting for a night or two at Brixton, they decided to do three at Shepherd's Bush (which at weren't announced all at once, because they didn't know how popular they'd be, but didn't want to look like they'd over-estimated it).
