New York Times to stream new National album from Friday
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater April 20th, 2010

Another day, another leak, another pissed off band. This time round it's the much-loved National with their new record High Violet. Again, to combat and counteract what they call 'a low quality leak', they've decided to let you listen to it before its release date.

The measure that they've taken is to give an exclusive stream to The New York Times from this Friday, April 23. On their official website the band say that they hope 'you'll take the time to hear the album at its intended level of quality'. Which is fair enough, really.

Just in case you weren't aware of the precise details of High Violet, point your eyes below for the bits and bobs. It's released on May 10 through 4AD.

Tracklist:

  1. Terrible Love
  2. Sorrow
  3. Anyone's Ghost
  4. Little Faith
  5. Afraid Of Everyone
  6. Bloodbuzz Ohio
  7. Lemonworld
  8. Runaway
  9. Conversation 16
  10. England
  11. Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks
