Exclusive: Pentangle announced as headliners of Green Man 2008

Green Man have landed prog-folk luminaries Pentangle for a world exclusive headline performance.
The band – a kind of supergroup composed of Bert Jansch, John Renbourn, Jacqui McShee, Danny Thompson and Terry Cox – will top the bill on Sunday night (17 Aug), joining co-headliners Spiritualized and Super Furry Animals.
Tickets for the event are on sale now from here, (adult weekend tickets cost £105). The National, Iron and Wine and Laura Marling are among those who will also be at Glanusk Park in Brecon Beacons, Wales from the 15th ‘til the 17th of August.

an epic band, but i never grew to like jacquis voice.went to see john renbourn in athlone very little people there enjoyed myself although i was on my own and a raffle half way.the raffle made it the best night ever!!! i thought i was going to win but i didnt ,i wasnt dissapointed the suspence was great
