YES!
Cant wait!
has he moved west?
Brastislava, Brandenberg, the one I can't quite remember how it's spelt-burg have become Nantes, Cherbourg and Cliquot.
I was harsh on Beirut at first, but the first album's really good
Ah, Zachie!
Me love you long time!
Any idea
when the London tickets go on sale?
if fishplums is right,
i will go to the leeds date.
that london date
is a smidge over a year to the day that i saw him first support calexico at the very same roundhouse. makes you think.
OMG
Irish centre!
...
he's playing as part of Swn -full details of which should be being announced NEXT WEEK!
HURRAH.
the beirut album being ace
i wasn't 100% on them at glastonbury.
Excellent.
And Two Gallants playing in Bristol on the Sunday. Not a bad weekend!
annoying
that it's the same day as The National in Bristol though.
reeeeeeeally?
Dave will be fuming about that. I feel a blog coming on :-D
first horrible swn clash!
argh argh argh
does this clash
with your night Keef?
*whistles*
yeah it will, but then so will 6 other nights! i was clinging on to the vague hope that no good bands whatsoever would play the friday, which was being a bit hopeful ;)
we should hopefully still get a good crowd in. we'll probably arrange the running order once some of the bigger gigs are announced!
hopeful hopey hope
my thesaurus is letting me down.
i think
'we' might try and stagger stuff a bit as well to avoid major clashes.
hehe
"really down today guys :( "
hurrah!
BEIRUT ONSTAGE AT 1AM PLEASE
what have previous shows been like
i saw him three times over the summer and to be honest each time felt that the three or four outstanding tracks where great and the other stuff was a bit 'sub par magnetic fields plays hawk and a hacksaw'....
i really like the album, and am sure hes jsut starting out- i just want to know what others have thought
how big is the roundhouse?
in relation to other london venues?
i want to gooooo
London tickets on sale now
