Pretty wank besides that, though.
Yeah
Last year was soooooooooooooooo much better.
Mostly because I got a free ticket. And I don't think I've ever been so continously drunk ever. It was great fun watching all the families slowly edge away from my friend and I.

crap?
On top of the 2 you mentioned, there's Spoon, Fujiya & Miyagi, Pole, Gruff Rhys and quite a few others I'm quite partial to. Overall, think lineup is quite good.
Would go but its Field Day that weekend.
the line up is bloody good value for £85
pigeon detectives, low, spiritualized, !!!, maps, spoon, pole, gruff rhys, fatal star (fun lovin criminals), the dandilions, the displacements (new signing to stiff), seasick steve, john cooper clarke, etc. etc. etc.
and you can bring your own booze in. you dont have to buy it at the bar. and theres an offie on london road which did ten cans for a fiver last year.
poor lineup
leicester has better bands than that!
where is MJ Hibbett and the Vlads? where are Lazarus Clamp and fight fire with water? where are the bobby mcggees and former utopia?
where is my point?
Agree
with the above statement, apart from the mention of the pigeon detectives (one of the worst live bands I have ever seen).
Am looking forward to this, it was my favourite outdoor UK festival last year
disagree
The Pigeons are ace live.
spaceman
spiritualized acoustic seen same show earlier in year at brixton academy.
awesome leicester in for a treat.
former utopa......
hhhmmmmmm.
and
you get a fringe festival with 4 venues, 10 bands, perrier award winning comedy, the latest signing to stiff records, 6 music dj's and presenters and a late night dj dub session with the fun lovin criminals.
for a quid.......
Saturday
on the Indoor Stage looks pretty swell to me. The Falling Leaves, Cud, Low, Maps, !!!...definitely not a bad line-up that one.
I don't think you actually have one...
... Unless you were trying to show off your shit taste in music? In which case well done, you've suceeded.
There's just not enough bite this year...
Not really a patch on last years, even with the likes of Low and Spoon peppered around...
Fringe flyer for the Firebug looks rubbish. Sack the designer!. :)
I'll tell him
although to be fair we've had to shrink it to fit on the site so it looks MEGA-pixelly. The real life A3 one looks mighty fine tho, honest.
thats the dis flier. the main fringe flier :
check out the main fringe flier, care of the very excellent
speeding train posters.
flier :

speeding train :
And we did have
to put the flier together at v. short notice, didn't we Mr Black?!?
its very true my gourlay.
never attempt to organise a fringe festival, especially with no financial benefit........you just dont have a life as a result
