Feeder & Stereophonics bottled off at festival

Feeder and The Stereophonics were amongst the bands forced offstage by a hostile crowd at this year's Imola festival in Italy.

The 120,000 strong festival was headlined by local legend Vasco Rossi, and fans were somewhat impatient to see their idol, resulting in them trying to hasten his appearance in whatever way possible.

Feeder were scheduled to play for 35 minutes, but were forced to curtail their set after only 5 songs, after drummer Jon lee was hit in the eye by a bottle, requiring medical attention.

Similarly, The Stereophonics were forced off after 3 and a half songs, despite Kelly Jones confronting the crowd.

However, Alanis Morrissette (the performer directly preceding Rossi's appearance) performed her 75 minute set in its entirety.

All this said, apparently Rossi played a blinder...
