Re: Four Day Hombre: new single and tour

as in, yes you are wrong!

Re: Four Day Hombre: new single and tour

blimey, I've played with these guys a few times and they're top blokes, however, they have been around for frikkin AGES and surely if they were any good, they would've released an album by now?

Re: Four Day Hombre: new single and tour

It's going to happen. There was some stuff on their site about the album - they've been abroad to record one - with the guy that produced Gemma Haynes and the The Frames.

Re: Four Day Hombre: new single and tour

Not really mate - though I personally find it difficult to describe. I've seen them loads - they are bloody good. I'm also on their mailing list and they've just posted their new video up online. Go to fourdayhombre.co.uk/video and have a look.

Re: Four Day Hombre: new single and tour

I heard that too. They mail you updates all the time - sounds like the album may be a belter.

Re: Four Day Hombre: new single and tour

You know there is this country north of the border called Scotland, you might have heard of it......

if you people are loving the hombres, you should check out canadian band cities of dust - not alike at all musically, but also give 110% at every gig. oooh, they're just lovely, well, and ROCK obviously. www.myspace.com/citiesindust

another band from the north i detect a seachange in the musical demographic. Heard these live in session on Raw Talent 95.9fm in the Yorkshire region i will certainly be going to see them at the Adelphi in Hull on the 2nd Oct. They are certainly worth checking out live. Anyone else on here going.

I think these are extra lovely fellas and work VERY hard to do everything they can - most impressively organised with street teams and t shirts and demo sellers and mailing lists and websites and ALL of that - they have done everything you are SUPPOSED to do ...

Sorry

Four Day Hombre: new single and tour

I reckon they'll make it this time you know.

That new single is the best they've done and they've been touring like no tomorrow. They made the "what we're playing" in the NME and are on MTV2 rotation now so the signs are good. Ive seen them a couple of times in London and Leeds and they really do a good set.
Fingers crossed for FDH!!

I know this news is well old

but I just lolled at the fact that they played Spires bar in Salisbury.
Wish i'd heard of them back then, Salisbury never gets good bands.
