Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus of Blink 182 have announced that their new project is called Plus 44. Numbers, again. Why?

Barker told the Union-Tribune of San Diego that he was currently writing and recording with Hoppus, with a view to releasing songs under the new name.

There's been no word on what the remaining ex-Blink member Tom Delonge is up to, nor whether Blink 182 have officially broken up (although 'hiatus' more often than not equals 'split'). If there is, we'll no doubt have something to say about it.

Well Travis went on Mtv after the 'Hiatus' was annouced, dismissing the break up saying there was life for Blink again.
Now he's chaning the story and saying there's no forseeable future for them. He's playing with the Blink fan's hearts (I not being one).

I'm just going to assume that this 'project' will involve a guest appearance from the other one
like the other 50 thousand 'projects' blink have spawned

when they broke up, they said it was cos they wanted time off music.
either theyve changed their mind (completely understandable) or they just realised how annoying the guitarist voice was.

weird that they kicked out the bassist for BCR and now kick out the guitarist.

Oh for crying out pants. Why doesn't Travis just go solo? He's the only one with any talent anyway.
