I'm trying to think if there's anything I'd less rather do than go to one of these gigs.

Nope. Not even a good support bill would persuade me.

The four workmates sitting opposite me are all going and seem to think it is the pinnacle of musical enrtainment this year. I hate my life...

hahaha...that picture of liam is fucking brilliant.

Re: Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

I will also admit to liking Morning Glory and buying Be Here Now on the day it came out. I quicky threw Be Here Now in the bin, where it belongs. Still love the first album n'all. But now...give me a break!

i remember the day when 2 million people applied for knebworth tickets. tickets for these gigs have been on sale for over a day now and still haven't sold out which is very poor for oasis.

can't say i'm surprised, watching them at glasto on tv was awful, imagine watching them in a field full of chavs, no thanks!

Someone here is subscribed to the holymoly mail out, obviously. Congratulations.

Re: Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

Knebworth was the end for me - and I was near the front so this wasn't down to a bad view. First album a classic (I bought the DVD the other week). Second album not bad for the most part. Third album... yep, I bought it first day too. Haven't sold it yet, but will do. Fourth album - bought, sold. Fifth album - never bought. Sixth album - let's hope not... unless a miracle happens and it's like the first. Uuuuuuuuuuunlikely.

I see that the first City of Manchester Stadium gig sold out in five minutes, according to the NME (which probably means a couple of hours).

Baa. Baaaaaaaa. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Re: Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

i think the moral of the story is, never shag patsy kensit.

i went to wembley in 2000 and loved it. the doves, happy mondays and oasis. the sun was out and i was pissed. good for nostalgia, but hardly cutting edge. a bit like going to a bjorn again gig during freshers week.

oasis are one of the most over-rated bands along with nirvana in the history of teh world. they are TOTALLY IRELLEVENT. get over it man

Re: Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

so the size of the venue you fill makes you a better band? stop being a sheep and start thinking for yourself.

9-10 years ago oasis did rule. it was great that a band like that could have no.1 hits, however they are rubbish these days, they've become a parody of themselves.

oasis have 1 good album - definatly maybe which at the time stood out. but what do oasis stand for snorting cocain ladism ect ect. load of shit people only like this band because there on a huge label who are willing to put loads of money into em. there a pop band. a shit one at that. liam has the worst voice i can imagine. noel is pretty talentless lets face it they cant hold onto a drummer so tehy get ringo star in!!! you must be joking! they might aswell change there name to the beatles. but they cant cause they dont even compare
