As you'll know by now, the Drowned in Sound magazine features a digest of all the best bits from the website, plus lots of exclusive extra's.
As anyone who's ever launched a magazine knows, distribution is the biggest problem. We're pleased to announce the 'zine will be distributed by Vital Sales and Marketing through the CHAIN WITH NO NAME cwnn.org. The CWNN consists of the finest 100 independent record stores around the UK including the likes of Avalanche, Piccadilly, Probe, Rough Trade, and Selectadisc. DrownedinSound.com will also now run the Chain With No Name Chart. We've also secured inclusion of the magazine in the In the City inthecity.co.uk delegate bags, which will reach everyone who's anyone in the music industry.
Back in July, Drowned in Sound launched the printed magazine as the Truck Festival programme. The launch issue, featured the likes of The Darkness, British Sea Power, Evan Dando, Fountains of Wayne, Cat Power, Four Tet, Magnet, Metallica and loads more.
