Check the full details below:
FRIDAY APRIL 11
The Big K! Stage
Amen 10.50-11.50pm
If Dicky Nixon was still alive, he'd have made Casey Chaos his Secretary of party fun, these right wing, towel spitting monsters are sober fun punkz. Sort of. PW
He might, like, cut himself onstage and that would be, like, way cool! Yeah the music is about as mental as Mr.Chaos. RR
The Hellacopters 9.10-10.10pm
Scandanavian. Drunk. Loud. PW
The Icarus Line 8.00-8.40pm
So they’ve ousted Troy and got the old drummer back. No steak for me, then! This is The Icarus Line’s first gig back in the UK since they rocked their Stooge-some selves around the country (Review) with The Dillinger Escape Plan last autumn. Your first chance to sample what they’ve been up to during their past few months of writing/recording, and alongside their Camden Underworld gig the following night (with support from the wonderful Colour Of Fire), it’s your only chance to catch them on this whirlwind UK trip. Hopefully we’ll be catching up with them for a chat, but meanwhile, check out Peter's interview to find out more. KP.
IGGY! IGGY! IGGY! However, I never really liked the Stooges. Or Iggy. I like Iccy Line though. RR
Burning Brides 7.00pm-7.30pm
Another garage rock band. *yawn* SA
They're so much more punk and so much more rock than any garage rock band could ever wish to be. RR
Elviss 6.00pm-6.30pm
This is the reason little kids die in lollipop accidents. Avoid unless you are trying to encourage middle of the road, made for Kerrang! TV alt-oiks. PW
Not to mention they're signed to a label run by EMAP who just happen to publish K! Funny that. SA.
Truly forgettable. Can't even remember what they sound like. Seen them twice already. Probably not see them for a 3rd time. RR
Danko Jones 5.00-5.30pm
The Wildhearts should have given up a long time ago. Heroin addictions have yet to hit Danko Jones. We can wait...PW
Kerrang! Club Arena
Headliners: Killswitch Engage 10.00-10.50pm
Don't expect them to play bubble beauty fairytales.
Tis metal innit.PW
Oh even sweet Jesus himself said a prayer when the might of Killswitch fell upon him. Circle pits ahoy! RR
Shadow’s Fall 8.50pm-9.30pm
Apparently like a ginger metal nutter on a lads holiday in Benidorm. PW
Poison The Well 7.50pm-8.20pm
They're from Florida. They're still angry. I would blame Ralph Nader and the weather. Noisecore bladda bladda.PW
Can't wait for this one. Don't expect too much singing. Or complicated 3-minute guitar solos. RR
Charger 6.50pm-7.20pm
Sludgecore from Stoke-on-Trent. Will drink Casey Chaos under every table.PW
Evil, evil riffs and screamy, screamy vocals. nice. MH

More Scandanavians. Less pretty than The Hellacopters.PW
OnePity 3.00pm-3.20pm
Think surburban Lostprophets.PW
SATURDAY APRIL 12
The Big K! Stage
Headliners: Glassjaw 10.50-11.50pm
Nervous twitches and extreme death rock pyschosis SHOULD finally hit the UK [they won't. It's been cancelled - an editor]. I'll believe it when I see it but this should be the rock n roll performance of 2003. Unless of course the man with the bag on his head turns up. PW
HIGHLIGHT ALERT! RR
Special Guests: Hell Is For Heroes 9.20-10.10pm
Symposium weren't cool. The Deftones are still around and my girlfriend's granny could be a more convincing 'post-hardcore' metal crue. PW
Symposium were a great band tho! The HIFH album 'The Neon Handshake' ain't really a patch on some 'posium b-sides tho! SA
Rub that slab of pig iron for a couple of days and you get some very polished, but shit, metal that you can sell to the unsuspecting. RR
Capdown 8.00-8.40pm
Ska-punk madness. This is where I get to see how good you Southerners are at skanking! You know the drill - some rattling, head bashing beats, a few brass instruments and a selection of quirky, political lyrics. There's a reason why Capdown have a reputation for being the country's best live act... KP.
ThisGIRL 7.00pm - 7.30pm
You are not ugly. MTV is not dangerous. ThisGirl are your best friends. They will scour rock noize through your teeth. Ooh Yeah! PW
Their singer DOES look like Roddy Idlewild! SA
The most mental emo rock band to have ever come out of Rotherham. In fact, the best thing to have ever come out of Rotherham apart from David Seaman. RR
Funeral For A Friend 6.00-6.30pm
I fucking hate the LostProphets. All =emo= metal cliches and trucker caps. One of them wears a Good Charlotte t-shirt. Funeral For A Friend are not like this. They are special. PW
Coulda fooled me. In much the same way 100 Reasons don't excite me. We'll see. SA
Incomparable to 100 Raisins! Funeral... rock the party. RR
The Revs 5.00pm-5.30pm
Irish-y pop rock. Probably make Feeder look exciting. PW
Instruction 4.00-4.30pm
Remember Errortype:11? No? Well just in case you do, this is they, avec new guitarist and under a different guise. Their sound borrows, to an almost criminal extent, from the likes of Pearl Jam and Nirvana, mixing in their own, more EmO kinda vibe. I realise you’re frowning in distaste by now, but despite all this, they’re a really fucking good live act and well worth checking out. KP.
DREDG 3.00pm-3.30pm
Star Wars smoking, CalifornIA metal. PW
Christiansen 2.00pm-2.30pm
Alt rock. At the Drive In snorting Pavement. Maybe. PW
Do you foam at the mouth at the mere mention of Ian Mackaye or Dischord? You need to be here then.MH
Kerrang! Club Arena
Clutch 10.00-10.50pm
Stoner rock headlining? Surely an anomaly? PW
Downset 8.50pm-9.30pm
Quality metal-tinged hip-hop from this cult LA band. MH
Dukes Of Nothing 7.50-8.20pm
Bushy sideburns, pints of whisky and blazing rock n roll. Just life's essentials for these guys. MH
They'll beat you over the head if you get too close. I know this from experience dammit. RR
Murder One 6.50pm-7.20pm
Iron Monkey. RIP. PW
Uncompromising heavy stuff from this UKHC supergroup!MH
Kinesis 5.50pm-6.20pm
Call me predictable, but I really do think these four Bolton boys should be a lot further up the bill on this stage. Since headlining the DiS tour with Reuben and Miss Black America, they've been locked up in a studio working on a long awaited proper album. So, as their first live show in a couple of months, their set is bound to be beautifully explosive. KP.
I'd rather call Kinesis predictable. Yawn. Aaaaaaand again. RR
Mínus 4.50pm-5.20pm
All music from Iceland is beautiful; fact. Certainly I've not heard anything to make me think otherwise, anyway. Last time Raz spoke to them (interview), they were playing hardcore metal with an arty edge. Now apparently they've gone all grraaage-rawk. Hmmm. KP.
Garage rock from Mínus?? Never! Their show will probably be the heaviest show you will ever see. This from someone who has survived the noise holocaust that is Neurosis!MH
There had better be some decent reminders of their old stuff or I'm gonna be leaving in tears! Get close enough to feel your hairs prickle (about 50 yards away). Get closer. RR
Give Up The Ghost 3.50pm-4.20pm
Give Up The Ghost. Hardcore bands don't change for no one. PW
Fresh razor sharp hardcore to windmill your hearts to.MH
Johnny Truant 2.50pm-3.20pm
The repercussions of a badly planned suicide indeed. They sound as much like that as anyone. PW
Winnebago Deal 1.50pm-2.20pm
2 hairy men, a lot of noize. SA
That is a good thing, by the way. PW
Very good thing. RR
The Halo Friendlies 12.50pm-1.20
Fitties sticking Donnas songs near Courtney Love. PW
And hopefully other stuff near other stuff. Huh, huh. RR
Sunday April 13
The Big K! Stage
InMe 4.45pm-5.45pm
Well, it wouldn't be Kerrang! without them now, would it? Expect the usual kind of nu-metal infectious pop tunes, injected with vocals that sound something like Eddie Vedder with a severe case of nasal polyps. I quite like InMe, but then I'm a teenager; I'm supposed to. I wonder if they'll be so popular with an audience aged 18+. KP.
Go away. Just go back to school and please, for the love of God, don't unleash those warbly vocals on us ever again!MH
They make me weep and think about all the bad things in my life like all my ex-girlfriends and how bad I was to them and how my daddy beat me with the lawnmower n stuff. Or... RR
3 Colours Red 3.30pm-4.15pm
According to a bestselling fairytale, Jesus died and rose again. And after the tragedy of their post-3CR escapades, they've risen again and again and again. But until I saw them on the line-up, I thought they'd split up again. SA
Biffy Clyro 2.30pm-3.00pm
A new album on the way and a slightly new sound to suit. From what I've seen of Biffy Clyro recently, they're tighter and more focused than ever before. The grungier direction of the new material (single review) means mosh pits are almost possible, and the heart-roasting melodies of the older songs mean that those audience-uniting sing-a-longs that have become so characteristic of Biffy gigs (Live Review) will be just as magical as ever. KP.
BIFFY! BIFFY! BIFFY! SA
I hope it's one of their good days. RR
The Crimea 1.30pm-2.00pm
Davey Crockett is a musical genius. Folk punk lives. Discuss. PW
The Donots 12.30pm-1.00pm
More CalifornIA major label p(unk). PW
Burning Heart a major label? Ooh, controversial! Underneath the sugary coating lies something altogether more intricate and heart-burning.MH
Not to mention The Cooper Temple Clause and The Darkness deejaying.. Club All-Nighters and apparelyly "loads of free activities such as toilet racing, human bowling, metal karaoke, a tattoo studio, Sony Playstation gaming dome and lots, lots more.."
See ya on the beach. No sleep til Camber. So, you're off to Camber Sands, wanna know what to get up to? Well, there's a bunch of us ugly lot from DIS going to help us and you organise the ULTIMATE WEEKEND(ER) we've waffled off some jibe in the hope you print it out and follow it. We'll be splashing some free DiS badges around the place and talking to all our favourite bands (and maybe some we don't like too, probably just so we can distract 'em and piss in their drinks).
The Festival check-in starts at midday, the first band will be on stage at 3.00pm on the Kerrang! Club Stage and the Big K! Stage will kick off at 5.00pm.
