So they’ve ousted Troy and got the old drummer back. No steak for me, then! This is The Icarus Line’s first gig back in the UK since they rocked their Stooge-some selves around the country (Review) with The Dillinger Escape Plan last autumn. Your first chance to sample what they’ve been up to during their past few months of writing/recording, and alongside their Camden Underworld gig the following night (with support from the wonderful Colour Of Fire), it’s your only chance to catch them on this whirlwind UK trip. Hopefully we’ll be catching up with them for a chat, but meanwhile, check out Peter's interview to find out more. KP.

I realise you’re frowning in distaste by now, but despite all this, they’re a really fucking good live act and well worth checking out. KP.

Since headlining the DiS tour with Reuben and Miss Black America, they've been locked up in a studio working on a long awaited proper album. So, as their first live show in a couple of months, their set is bound to be beautifully explosive. KP.

According to a bestselling fairytale, Jesus died and rose again. And after the tragedy of their post-3CR escapades, they've risen again and again and again. But until I saw them on the line-up, I thought they'd split up again. SA

A new album on the way and a slightly new sound to suit. From what I've seen of Biffy Clyro recently, they're tighter and more focused than ever before. The grungier direction of the new material (single review) means mosh pits are almost possible, and the heart-roasting melodies of the older songs mean that those audience-uniting sing-a-longs that have become so characteristic of Biffy gigs (Live Review) will be just as magical as ever.
