Another month, another Sheffield DiScover. Leeds band Grammatics headlined the second instalment of our night at The Harley, and launched their excellent 'D.I.L.E.M.M.A' / 'Polar Swelling' 10" (review) in a pretty much packed house - thanks for coming, if you did, it was even better attended than the first one. And just as much fun!
It's not all about the main bands though: local boys Rotary Ten and Situationists played great sets too - both have releases out at the moment, and you'd be foolish not to check them out, really.
Also, while you're here, check out next month's line-up: we've pulled off a bit of a coup in booking Telepathe along with three (count 'em) top locals. Be there.

get action photos of bomberman madness!
Beautiful pics...
as always Gary!! :D
I would've done...
Only I was too busy mourning the loss of my Mario Kart cartridge, which one light fingered git pinched! :-(
Seriously?! That's a bit gash
We swapped it at the bar for bomberman fairly early in the night, but we left at 12ish. I have no idea if this is helpful or not.
why are none of these cunts overweight slightly
and yes I bet it matters!
...
This is scandalous. And also a shame, because people seem to enjoy the SNES. But if cartridges are going to go walkabout...
Rainbow Road
*sigh*
I think it might just have to be one game for the night from now on. We'll have to have a poll beforehand or something. :-)
I've plenty of gaffer tape to make sure the chosen game doesn't go walkabouts again.
On a side note, why is no-one talking about how amazing Grammatics were? They were ace!
Update:
Said Mario Kart cartridge has been located. Panic over!
