it had two people on it. GO UNION, GO!
but now they are going to kill you.
more willing than i am to loose a day's wages, anyway.
We had a similar picket line outside our offices a couple of weeks back. They asked me if I wanted a leaflet, I declined. They were very polite.
And by polite, of course I mean totally ineffective
It's just WRONG.
Now you'll have to make up for it by not doing any work and sitting on DiS all day.
ace. i'm pretty good at that.
i'm not striking because i do think some reform of the scheme is needed.
if i was in my 40s, the scrapping of the 85 year rule would make me concerned. but as i'm in my 20s, right now i'm more concerned over ensure that there still is a scheme by the time i get to retirement age...
is striking today too.
Damn, I'm handsome
same here. 2 people as well...
What do we want?
Nice tea and biscuits.
When do we want it?
Viva the revolution
and some peevish woman with a face that you only get from smoking before you were even born pointed and screamed at me to which I replied something vaguely about not having a government pension but will support them by emailing my friends all day and sitting on the internet, which satisfied her between bursts of her graveyard cackle
THERE'S NO BUSES.
which means I get to stay off work. which is ace. but also sucky, because I also can't go anywhere to do anything...
should've sold off all your public services like we did years ago for worse results and higher fares! HAHAHAHA-oh, wait.
now there's no picket line. they seem to have gone away. the enforcement team confiscated the banners they left behind stuck to the wall as they were deemed to be advertisments and as such were placed there illegally. hahah!
but they're rubbish, and there aren't any that go near me anyway.
, they don't obviously. it was just something to say. i live precisely 3 minutes away from my work place so it's not affected me at all.
mmm, this might be the dullest message i ahve ever posted - it includes the one about the fact that it wasn't raining outside.
and work on broughton street.
that's like... 6 miles or something. and quite frankly, feck that.
the early morning rising that equates to like 14,000 miles or something :)
It must be rubbish having to go back home after a night out aswell. I always liked city living, cos im lazy i can pretty much get to my house in 20 minutes from anywhere i go.
God, i am so borrrring today.
especially because until 6 months ago I lived approximately 10 minutes away from pretty much anywhere I ever wanted to go.
Usually I crash at friends houses or something, because I hate night buses.
I need to move out.
Three men, One purple UNISON placard, two mugs of tea.
In my defence, I'm an agency temp. But feel free to call me scum. I've spent the last 10 days doing nothing but watching Cricket live scores on bbc.co.uk and browsing DiS.
Plus why are Trade Union reps ALWAYS the most annoying people in the building?
the laziest member of his team. even his manager makes jokes about how little work he does.
it suddenly all became clear when i found out he was the union rep...
our rep has actually made people leave the union because he kept hassling them. Me I was all ready to brave the pickets, only to find there were none...up the workers and all, I think everyone took it as a day to stay in bed.
ON serious type note, guntrip you're right I think an overall is more than necessary
