We all know the deal by now.
hello very awesome thing i would like you please.
it never worked very well.
So was looking forward to seeing the 6S, but it seems poop. It's a 6 with a slightly faster processor, doesn't bend (hopefully) and the pointless force touch feature which is pointless on other Apple devices.
i think i'll keep my 5S for now and see if I can last until the 7. I also don't really like the feel of the 6, it's not very "one hand-able"
is basically the Windows Surface Pro but without the full OS thing, right? Kind of odd to see Apple chasing rather than doing things first.
Also, Steve Jobs was so set against a stylus, wasn't he? Wonder if he'd ever have let this happen?
this has taken the fun out of it a bit
I mean they're obviously slightly different things but the Surface Pro 3 is actually a great device and when you look at the iPad Pro keyboard and the pen it's a bit...erm...odd.
Shame Microsoft have been so good at ruining their value.
But it had the Windows OS
The new one will have Windows 10 but not sure about the specs as yet.
The standard Surfaces do indeed have some batshit fucked up Windows cut down version, though.
I mean in 21st C sure, but you forget Windows ME or the various crappy versions of 95 and 98 they put out.
But the point about the Surface Pro is that it's a tablet device and the reason they messed up so badly with 8 and 8.1 was in creating a tablet-based design that people installed on non-tablet machines.
I've not actually used it much but Server 2012 is a pain. Server 2012 R2 (8.1) is definitely an improvement but it's still not a great OS to find and navigate for stuff in.
apple have gone back on all sorts of things Steve said though - the bigger iPhones for example, and it's only really now where we seem to be getting to the point where this is stuff beyond what Steve had planned already. people like Jonny Ive seem to have way more sway and power now that Steve has left and it's definitely reflected in the design choices.
