I'm going to rewatch The Raid I think, as the sequel is out next week and picks up immediately after.

david graeber 'the democracy project'
proof to show that the Christoffel symbols are the correction term transform a tensor
the trip: italy
what a fucking life
feel good about that
i got yr text btw, but haven't bothered turning my phone on until this evening and it seems to late to reply with chat.
they're doing a phd in durham. i mentioned the spook school and they were like, "oh yeah, my friends play with them all the time" and i was like, "... are you friends in Martha?"
climbin' the indiepop ladder, one rung at a time!!!!!
that's not too dissimilar to me actually. durham is on the list of places i'm consdering doing a phd if i can't get to the top few places, and i know someone who knows someone who sometimes plays banjo in onsind
but am too tired and depressed to properly concentrate and it would be a waste of good entertainment
Wondering if I have the patience for Das Boot tonight
It is good, yah?
don't know why some people get so worked up by it
it's one of life's pleasures.
The only people who think sitting in a darkened room in silence is only a social activity are 15yr olds.
Don't mind going to the cinema on my own.
I usually like going to the pictures on my own but the last time I went it was a wednesday and it was full of couples and it just made me really depressed
my housemates are really annoying about it if they find out I've been by myself though. Not even in a mocking way, but with misplaced concern (which is actually more irritating). Long story short, lone cinema trips are great.
less great if you go to an evening one
wouldn't touch a Friday night
when I went to see Under the Skin I got asked to move to one of those mid-aisle seats between groups of people so a couple could sit together. mortifying.
I want some chocolate but had an apple instead. didn't really do it for me tbh
(managed to keep it to healthy stuff though but still in grotesque quantities) but ended up watching Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky which cheered me right up. People have called it 'the Evil Dead 2 of Kung-Fu movies' or similar which is totally accurate and almost as good as that sounds.
Now I'm going to finish this section of The Pale King and then play Star Wars:KotOR & listen to Mount Eerie until I pass out.
I prettty much thought it was the best thing ever. might give it a rewatch at some point
mainly because I want to see Tom Hanks get all AIDS-y
does this make me a bad person? I cook a mean chilli if this affects your answer
although I'm sure I remember one of them was a real DIY PUNX 4 LIFE keyboard warrior
Saw Eddie izzard earlier in Edinburgh, 'twas good
