The FA all but tie the Premier League up by making City away to Hull the early fixture on Saturday. Any attempt to make the hosts anything but massive favourites a cheap ploy by a London-dominated media to market the remainder of the season as something other than an extended, loving prance down the aisle by Jose Mourinho and his unfancied band of inexperienced underdogs. The unedifying spectacle of this group of coldly groomed football bureaucrats beating Villa 2-1 to follow, as well as a bunch of dreck literally nobody cares about.
Sunday promises to be a bit more interesting. Real Sociedad face off against Valencia, Monaco travel to old giants Lyon and Juve continue their march towards the title at a tricksy Genoa.
