it's like Steubenville/Maryville all over again.
made me feel urgh
all of it is horrible but the fact that it's so pervasive that the community of males & females in the article have normalised it and are apologists for these guys behaviour is just beyond
...I guess that's what rape culture is
what a bunch of douchebags, to say the least.
NZ police lost the plot years ago anyway.
• Monday: Mr Scott said no girl had made a formal complaint.
• Tuesday: Superintendent Bill Searle said none of the girls from the original inquiry wanted to make a formal complaint.
• Yesterday: A teenage girl says she made a formal complaint to the police two years ago.
• This morning: Police confirm four girls have now laid complaints with police about the Roast Busters.
The words "brave enough" were used. Unbelievable.
then surely the police can question them?
Still I guess that the vulnerable girls are not seen as important.
PS Robin Thicke song is bad, why hasnt anyone interviewed him and asked him to withdraw it?
and this 'sort of thing' needs to not be able to be 'a thing' on our culture
the guy who played 'Dozer' in The Matrix. One of them is allegedly the son of a cop. Make of that what you will.
Especially where he referred to the whole thing as "ridiculousness".
surprised there hasn't been some vigilante justice dished out seeing as they have released their pictures and names.what a shame that would be......
Because if there's one thing vigilante mobs are renowned for, it's their intelligence and their ability to always find the right people.
I cannot believe this.
The hosts on that RadioLive show that are mentioned in the article asked one of those girls over the air in an interview "What kind of clothes where they wearing?" and "What age were you when you lost your virginity?"
I'm not making this shit up. It's fucking mind-boggling.
