I have a headache.
I hate you Guntrip.
hungry again now :(
Gonna go home and pick up records and books. Went to a bar last night and went drinking with the barstaff afterwards cos I assumed we'd be off work. We're not off and I think I'm going to struggle.
saw django last night, cracking film
having to use my apple earbuds on the commute whilst i wait for new headphones to arrive....unfathomable how people can use these to listen to music on a daily basis
need a poo
I've been using apple ones since :(
sort it out quick
off to oxford tonight to do some agency stuff tomorrow. then back there at the weekend as well
Then some dafty in heels very nearly took me out as she tried to recover from a slip, right outside my office.
I am going to a Burns Supper tonight and it's going to be excellent.
felt like a prat.
where when you fall over you will grab ANYTHING that is near you. even if it happens to be a person you've never met before. brain is just like "you're coming with me bitch"
The bit outside my flat was treacherous this morning. I wasn't even wearing heels (well cuban ones, I guess.)
Tonight- going for a lovely dinner and I just want it to be 7pm now actually. Getting out of bed today was the hardest thing ever.
(Belize, Galapagos, Rio and BA).
Ask me about it and I shall tell you (about it)! Such an amazing place...
I have so much to tell you...! Srsly, I do.
the Worcester sauce Wheat Crunchies with CHEDDAR AND ONION (!!!!!) in their multi packs. This is amazing news, as the Worcester sauce ones were shit.
I'm looking forward to my lunch massively as a result.
That and an Alpen bar. :D
It's when you push a guy down a hill so he rolls onto a busy road.
but up in Aberdeen they are called Glasgow Rolls. They are really crispy on the outside and really soft on the inside. japes/Ouef/mehodor will back me up- they are incredible.
they just have them sitting out, normally on the ice cream chests, in a tray. fucking love them.
They are fab. I've found a place a wee italian deli that does bacon rolls using morning rolls in Mayfair. An absolute find! In fact... I may get one now.
morning rolls are the ones from the supermarket, the fake ones, not the Morton's rolls :D
I'm off to get a bacon roll no. Not well fired though- I like mine slightly chewy :D
I'd only buy multipacks of that
but the Worcester sauce ones were horrible so I'm really glad they've got rid of them, and now Wheat Crunchies can become a staple part of my lunch once more.
when i move it'll be maximum 15 minutes too. :[
Why didn't I think of that?! /Boston Accent
(I watched the Bruins last night. NHL!!!)
need something to fill the void and football ain't gonna cut it.
How much is the NHL Gamepass or whatever they call the hockey one?
BUT BE WARNED it's blacking out games being shown on Premier Sports (so, you'll have to us Unblock US to get by it, or some other VPN). But it has full game replays and on the Xbox you can watch at least two games at once and on the website it's up to four at once. :D And you get to chose the home or away broadcasts (and as a bonus, if you use the VPN you get to see the adverts! Last night I saw adverts for new Grilled Cheese sandwiches at Sonic and the horrendously misogynistic Coors Light adverts).
I might look into this then. The day after the superbowl is always the most depressing day of the year for me; I need something to get me through the 8 month NFL off-season
He's a Canadian, and the youngest team captain to win a Stanley Cup Finals (the Hockey superbowl). He'd basically been out since 2010-2011 with a concussion - he had two back to back hits and was out for a season, and then came back for 8 games before the concussion symptoms came back, so they benched him.
He then did this in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, in OT, in the Gold Medal match, against the US, and became a national hero :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDO5WdO_RoE
I used to follow the NHL years ago but never really had a team, I would just follow whoever Owen Nolan was playing for as he was born in Belfast. I'm guessing he's probably retired now though as this was at least a decade ago.
have been travelling to and from work in Walking boots, which is an experience and a half.
Am getting seriously bored with work and the like. My GF has been offered a job in London and I want to get a new job there, but am having to apply to things starting in September, as I know a new job wont allow me to take the 4 weeks off I need in August.
which is apparently really bad to get as an adult so people who haven't had it in the office are freaking out a bit. I remember it being really shit when I got it at 4 years old, having it at 30+ must be rough!
It was horrible, not helped by my bitch of a boss saying I should still come to work as it is only contagious prior to the spots appearing. I was working in a toy shop so that would have looked GREAT on the shop floor. Cow.
Cabin fever is starting to set in and the only thing saving my sanity is the going-through of all the albums on Resident's best of 2012 that I've not heard. Currently on John Murry - lovely stuff.
No, I don't work for them.
Had a tiring past couple of days, drove to London on Sunday to see FuerzaBruta at the Roundhouse in Camden which was amazing, but meant driving back in the snow afterwards. The outside lane on the M1 was a deathtrap! Then yesterday had an early start for a meeting which was cancelled. B'oh.
Just waiting for payday this week, feel a bit skint after spending too much on clothes. Got a nice coat and a decent suit though so not all bad.
otherwise i've got nothing on and i've basically wasted my semi-free office time
