1. Today whilst sitting through a pointless staff forum, I saw someone take a jelly bean from a plastic container, which had scrawled on the lid, "7 jelly beans = 30g of carbs". Is this not an unusual degree of obsessiveness over calorie counting, even for people on strict calorie counting diets?
2. Not long after I ate a couple of jam drop biscuits that my wife made, and I decided that no store-bought jam drop biscuits could better them. I'm convinced by this, but is it true for biscuits generally, or only for jam drops?
3. Just finished watching S1 of Game of Thrones. There's a long thread about the show somewhere, but it's too long for me to go through, and I'm worried about S2 spoilers, so I thought I'd just post that fact here.
