The best bit is that it's in Newcastle!
Looking forward to bong and grouper. Will make up for beacons being cancelled
SVENROKK WHERE ARE YOU
I'm going. But maybe just the Saturday and Sunday, might go to Male Bonding on the Friday night. Going to DFA1979 in Manchester on the Thursday as well (if i'm not getting my dates mixed up), it's going to be like a proper festival weekend, but i can sleep in my own bed and not have to drink shit lager.
THEY ALL SOUND THE SAME ANYWAY.
tusk all weekend it is then. The Dog and Parrot makes me feel old anyway.
hoping for a the residents-esque show
almost died watching Let's Wrestle the other week.
I've yet to buy a ticket so it's ALL TO PLAY FOR still. Not really.
LOADS OF TIME LEFT THOUGH SO IT SHOULD BE OK
and y'know, get some money. but it'll be okay everyone will live HAPPILY EVER AFTER.
you can't go back on that now.
it'll probably be fine, right?
lets hang out
i'll get a thermos of ginbrini on the go
that's a good idea that. cherry?
but i want to tan it up in bede's world
It will be much easier if i still live here though.
BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM? that would be a slight trek probably.
the DEFINITELY is inspiring though.
I'm excited about it
People should come to Newcastle just to hang out in the Tanners when they have the cosmic disco and the old Ibiza VHSs on, the festival is yet another reason to come.
Miss being next to the tanners :(
Gateshead has some really nice bits. You could always go to Hey Baby Chief Panda at the weekends.
I just like typing the name out. Never been in.
i'm sure it's closed. i'm sure it was a shop with jamaican flags in the window last time i was round that way.
there was a gig there a month ago I think
I'm loving my gateshead flat though! And the central is a fine local
You know that gallery in Gateshead that had the punk fanzine etc stuff on? I couldn't find it! I walked around for about half an hour. Probably walked past it loads of times. Crap.
It's to the right of Lloyds bank infront of the Tesco car park - I don't blame you - there is no signage for it.
I would go to that but i'm away this weekend :( Mint lineup on Friday especially!
I don't suppose anybody fancies offering me a place to crash?
No idea what they're going on about in that blog post.
I JUST LOVE IT
just to get out of Glasgow.
will i though?
I had a very good time anyway. Guitar Trio was awesome. Rhys Chatham was the king of the festival and he has a new best friend.
Full of regret now :( It's my own fault for getting up to watch stupid rugby on Saturday morning.
