The LAN light on my wireless router
Fire engine/Police car/Ambulance
on that note my mate wanted me to buy him Count Cockula for Christmas haha.. funny looking thing.
the fridge light, if you keep opening and shutting the door.
none of them are working and it's back to the old till you go.
The sun. when you drive past a slatted fence or some railings.
My CaPs LoCk KeY.
candles in a gentle breeze
dear fucking god, what has become of me?
But i realised what i was doing with my life, and came to an abrupt halt.
similar to a strobe light party.
Or just spent in bed.
Gently reflected in the wet road below.
One of the two.
Shows how much attention I pay at crossings. Also, the flashing globes on zebra crossings.
(I really hope this is a set-up for something)
You really are clever, aren't you?
(had no idea they were called Belisha Beacons. Did anyone apart from hyg know that??)
I know it's not your fault or anything, but I every time I see your name I think, for a brief moment, that you're foppyish. Then I see that you're not, and I cry a little.
a woman gets on with an uncanny likeness to her. And her a brief, fluttering moment, I think it's her. But like a guttering candle, snubbed by a ruthless breath, the light flashes once, and is forever gone.
Still, nothing to be done, eh?
and its late and there are no more tv programming, sometimes the TV starts to flash at you, almost like its trying to communicate
I mean, not actually when you *were* living in the 70s, but after that?
i used to use it to empty the house after a party. It really really worked.
I take it with me to my hotel room sometime and put on in there, although I am always nervous so I block the gaps in the door and close the curtains thoroughly, I dont do it often cos i is also worriedf about interferencve on neigbouring bedrooms telly reception
What do you do? have a little rave with it on? i love the way it gives the stuttering affect against someone dancing.
they have some full length mirrors on the fitted wardrobes in the hotel I stay in, I arrange it so there is a reflection of these in the large bathroom mirror, stick the strobe between and hey presto a rave (or disco as we used to call them)
I also love the stuttering effect, I could watch people moving in strobes all day long.
I do worry that someone might have seen the flashing lights and be hammering on the door but I cant hear them.
i think they are pretty cheap too. I really must get one
if you have babies you have the excuse to chillax with them.......are you saying they have adult versions of it......my sons' one played 'go to sleep go to sleep nah nah nah nah nah nah nah, go to sleep go to sleep na na nananah na na' (dont know the name of it)
im sure you can get adult ones though. If not we should make one.
I know the tune you mean! TUNE! ;P
would be to have a club and light it really really excitingly and beautifully,
Oh and the lazers.....I used to sooooooo love dancing in tunnels of lasers so you are in your own little world....
Hahah.. if i lived closer Creaky i would come rave with you
other than ^these.
it would encourage me to stay. (or would it...imagines strobe with no music and angry looking miss bass with hands on hips tapping foot......ok fair enough, i can see it now)
im on about the people who stay from a Friday night to late on a Sunday night ;) No sleep, No food. Put on some hard beats and a strobe light... people order taxi's promply on their own :) success
is that what we're talking about?
then yes: that's what we're talking about.
that warns potential car thieves that my (fake) car alarm is working (it's not).
Like a pause button that when pressed, does nothing.
Although I have no idea whether it deters thieves. There's much richer pickings than my eight-year-old Peugeot 206 to be had.
i find myself starting at these in pubs and trying to work ot the sequence of flashes
from about 10:00 onwards, particularly round 10:30
the prettiest sort of flashing lights
if you can get from the front door to Aunty Joan's en suite bathroom without setting it flashing you are a legend.
- Someone turned that alarm clock off at the mains and turned it on again
- Driving past loads of traffic cones really fast at night
