Question: when the hell is Rick gonna attach a chainsaw to that stump and go all 'Ashley Williams?'
but i've got an essay to write and the two dark horse achewood books in the post!
And I don't know why he's so worried about his wife when she seems to escape absolutely everything. Even for a comic book, it really pushes my suspension of disbelief.
And agreed, partially. I know the idea was to keep going beyond where a zombie film would usually end, but I'd like to see TWD finished (well, obviously) reasonably soon.
I know he's the Great Leader, but he's a proper dickhead. He has no real flaws. Even his flaws are actually beneficial in some way, he's always right about everything even when he's clearly not, he's a dick. I want him to die and his mongy kid get the AIDS or something. That'll bring me back to TWD.
unread. i really should get down to that.
can anyone recommend any comics similar in tone to walking dead? (not zombies, but you know...good art and whatnot),
It's damn good. Wiki it.
if the current arc doesn't end it i don't know what else they can do with rick & co that won't just see the series dragging along limp and lifeless as a zombie
seems Mega City in Camden and FP London both got deliveries today.
see, i'm not keen on it ending soon but i do think he needs to take a less linear approach to the storyline. i don't really read a lot of comics but all the ones i have read and enjoyed in recent years (particularly Y, DMZ and the early parts of IDW's Transformers reboot) are titles that throw together a really involving fictional universe. some of my favourite bits of Y were the one-shots that followed background characters. they barely had any relevence to the main storylines but they just helped flesh out the world the characters existed in. i think there's a hell of a lot of potential to do this in The Walking Dead-iverse.
this book is ace. ACE.
