Why not be all 'I bought enough supplies to keep an entire battalion going for 10 years, as well as a tank, a helicopter, a ship, the best gun you've ever seen with loads of bullets, and a bagfull of aids to throw at people if they get through all that'? Is he trying to be all indie and DIY by sticking with the ol' axe and beans routine? That's what I'd do. Or, on second thoughts, he could just play some of his bands music at intruders until they start crying and leave of their own accord.
